"Divine Nature" Retreat France

This retreat is an invitation to rejuvenate yourself, to immerse yourself in the sacred* dimension of the medicine wheel of human nature, and to explore the various qualities of mystery within it: the sensual body of mystery, the psyche of mystery, the structure of mystery, and the depth of mystery.

A week to slow down, to take time in nature to reconnect with our own mortality, and to open ourselves up to wonder, to the unknown, and to the greater whole.

In the spirit of Mary Magdalene and the Assumption, in English and French, with a solo night under the stars, the transformative power of heaven and earth awaits us in mid-August.

A time and a place to listen attentively to the whispers of life and the cycle of life and death on this earth and within oneself.

How do I let myself drift into the unknown, let myself dissolve into the whole, how do I accept losing myself completely so that what surprises me can emerge…

What is it that sustains me here, unchanging, eternal?

Through time spent alone in nature, in spaces where one can feel, breathe, and enter into a silence that is not the absence of sound but a vast territory to which one belongs. Through rituals and creativity, exploring, without needing to know, the force of life beyond what defines me.

Beyond physical death and separation, beyond knowledge, identity, structures, and time, beyond morality and the horizon of possibility, where all converges into Oneness, in the purest unknown.

We’ll be staying at the Gîte des Brizards, surrounded by the light and beauty of the Morvan, the green heart of Burgundy.

The Morvan is one of France’s quietest, most unspoiled regions, ancient forests, still lakes, sacred sites, and long stretches of silence. The kind of place where the nervous system begins to settle just by arriving.

Logistics

Base price:

490–640 CHF, depending on your budget, for the 6-day retreat.

Support price:

660–1,180 CHF, to support our work and ensure the continued availability of Medicine Wheel workshops.

Accommodation and healthy vegetarian meals.

370 CHF for a triple room,

590 CHF for a single room. (limited availablities)

A non-refundable deposit of 340 CHF is due at the time of registration; the balance must be paid 10 days before the course begins. The deposit is to be paid into the account ofthe Association pour les Rites de Passage, IBAN CH16 0839 0039 1577 1000 1, 1 Chemin de Renens, 1004 Lausanne.

Cancellations: Cancellations are difficult for both participants and organizers. We understand that life is unpredictable, and we strive to manage our organization in a sustainable manner.

If you cancel 30 days or more before your retreat start date, you will receive a full refund, less the deposit. Deposits are only refunded in the event of cancellation by the organizers.

If you cancel 29 days or less before your retreat start date, and we are able to fill your place, you will receive a full refund, less the deposit.

If we are unable to fill your place and you cancel within 29 days of the start of your retreat, we will ask you to pay the price corresponding to the lowest end of the price scale.
