Everything that I do, everything that I offer, is based on my own healing experiences. We all know rationally how important it is to be able to feel our emotions and sensations, but more often we are not even aware of what we are truly feeling. To truly heal, it means you will have to feel. But how do you learn this? What are feelings? What are perceptions?
There are many somatic therapies available to bring someone into the body, and they are extremely helpful, once a person has found a feeling of safety in the body. To truly feel safe enough to feel, we often need a little help, and in community during compassionate inquiry retreats, we can really learn to feel safe. In the right group we feel held, seen, and understood, and nature gives us the container of safety and acceptance.
